         Biography          

Kimberley began learning piano at the age of four, and in graduated from Monash University with her Bachelor of Music degree majored in Piano Performance in 2015.

 

At the same time she holds a Performance Diploma Certificate from ABRSM (Equivalent to Diploma AMEB) and planning on moving forward for the following years.

​

Over the years she has been teaching AMEB syllabus to different age of children and has obtained lots of experiences in teaching in various and flexible ways.

 

In 2017, she completed her Master of Teaching degree majored in Early childhood from The University of Melbourne, and it led her to start her journey with teaching amazing children.

25 years of piano playing makes Kimberley a professional player, and brings her from "do-re-mi" to majestic masterpieces written by great composers such as Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky.

 

- Time does not stop anyone from knowing and learning more.-

 

She also enjoys her time playing along with her students and often encourage them to explore new things during their musical journey, playing fun music games together, generously giving out her knowledge, and in contrary happy to be inspired by her students as well.

 

She appreciates the time spending with children and spreading the love towards music to everyone, at the same time having great passionate to teach and lead people on the right track of the journey.

 

Smile, laughs and enjoyable time of sharing music, become all the reasons to be a responsible piano teacher.

Within the time of higher education studies in Melbourne, Kimberley received the highest score (100) for Music in Taylors College while foundation year.

 

She also received The Best Classical Piano Ensemble award from The Bernie’s Music Land in 2014.

 

Moreover, Kimberley is originally from Hong Kong, hence speaking excellent Mandarin, Cantonese and fluent English.

  A little bit more about Kimberley 

Kimberley was honoured to participate in several performances held in Melbourne Recital Centre, Monash University - Russian Kaleidoscope (2014), Peer Gynt (2013), Piano Sound Series Concerts (2015) etc...

 

Over the years she also accompanied for a few musicals made by university students as a rehearsal pianists, such as Aesop's Fable and Stick and Stones.

 

She has also experienced in accompaning a few instruments such as violin, trumbone, tuba and classical singers.
